In SC we all come across most of the questions, which contain verbing either as a verb or as a modifier.
>Verb-ing( Verb): The verbing will only act as a verb when its followed by anyone of the following auxiliary verbs: is/was/are/were/am/be.
For example, Kate is working on a crucial project.
>Verb-ing(Noun): When the V-ing word represents an action, but without any helping/auxiliary verb then it acts as a Noun or Gerund.
For example, Working on a crucial project, Kate seems busy these days.
>Verb-ing(adjective): When it follows by a noun without the helping/auxiliary verb then it acts as an adjective and modifies the noun, that follows it.
For example, kate travels to new york to know about the learning tools of X.
