hi guys,
I am the only one massively failing at reading comprehension?
I am practicing for months now and I get only 1/4 questions right.
I am aware of the strategies such as "chunking', however, I find it really hard to apply these strategies into practice.
Does anyone have any advice?

Understanding the essence of the Passage trumps understanding the exact literal meaning. If you understand why the passage has been written you might get >50% questions right even without understanding the passage clearly. The structure,tone and purpose of the passage is far important when it comes to answering questions.
-Read each paragraph.[Read slowly]
-Take your eyes off the screen.[Very Important]
-Write purpose of the paragraph. [Very Important]
e.g - Para1:A new hypothesis has been proposed.
Para2:Criticism of the hypothesis.
Para3:Support of the hypothesis.
Try these steps. The solution might look very simple but steps are not easy to follow.
-Practice[Most Important] RC is the section in which practice is directly proportional to score.[Practice = Right way of Practice].
