Have you tried the practice questions on gmatclub? You can use it to check out your foundation, which area you are good at and which you are not, by answering different difficulty and different type of questions.
I would focus on the main five: Meaning-Parallel-SV-Pronoun-Modifier If you miss three or four regularly, they should be the 600-700 difficulty questions. After eliminating the wrong answer choices, plug the right one back to the original sentence and see if your friend or neighbor can CLEARLY understand what it says. Those hard questions usually give two fairly good grammar answers, but one alters the meaning by saying something weird.
