Start with mastering the vocab. You may use barons high frequency 333 and magoosh 1000 words to start. Do atleast 10 - 15 words a day and try using them in statements. You may use Gruber GRE for even more words and their meaning but frankly it would be an overkill for someone aiming 160.


Practice questions from greprepclub and use the OG. You can also use RC and CR from the gmatclub forum this should get you there.

Below are a few more links for vocab. Learning the root words can be very helpful, because you can apply them to multiple words or help you make your best guess when you're unsure.

This manhattan guide is good for strategy, on the 2 question types that are different from the GMAT, Text Completion and Sentence Equivalence. While the vocabulary is very important, there are also a lot of clues you can get from the context, and these strategies can help significantly.
