Hi all,
According to several gmat courses, wh-words can refer to a preceding list of noun however in some ı encountered that some wh-words (e.g."which and "that") can't refer to a noun list.
Are examples below correct from a GMAT perspective?
Winston Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin, who were the rulers of the leading nations during WW2, met each other and discussed the post-war situation of Europe
Winston Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin, to whom people showed gratitude for liberating Europe during WW2, met each other and discussed the post-war situation of Europe
UK, USA and USSR, which were the leading nations during the WW2, helped shape post-war Europe
UK, USA and USSR that were the leading nations during the WW2 helped shape post-war Europe
