Specialist Coaches are unrepresented on the selection committees of the National Football League (NFL). Since these committees advise NFL directors and recommend policies, the over representation of Specialist Coaches results in a relative lack of NFL technical support for research in the Specialist Techniques.
If the statements above are correct, they most strongly support which of the following?
A)A significant increase in the size of NFL selection committees would be required in order to increase the representation of Specialist Coaches on these committees. B)A significant increase in the representation of Specialist Coaches on NFL selection committees would result in an increase in NFL funding for Specialist Techniques' research. C)A significant increase in funding for Specialist Techniques' research would result in improved policy recommendations to NFL directors. D)A significant increase in funding for the training of Specialist Coaches would result in an increase in the number of Specialist Coaches on NFL selection committees. E)A significant increase in the representation of Specialist Coaches on NFL selection committees would have to precede any increase in the number of NFL managers who are Specialist Coaches.

This seems to be an inference/conclusion question as the question stem says 'they most support'
As we can see, there are 2 premise/ facts mentioned in the passage Premise 1: Specialist Coaches are unrepresented on the selection committees of the National Football League (NFL) Premise 2: Since these committees advise NFL directors and recommend policies, the over representation of Specialist Coaches results in a relative lack of NFL technical support for research in the Specialist Techniques.
Let's start with POE First glance I feel it is pretty obvious and easy to eliminate A & E because they out of context.
(C): Counters the information of Premise 2, eliminate. (D): funding for the training of Specialist Coaches is going off track, we are talking about funding for the REPRESENTATION of the S coaches.

Premise 1 : Specialist coaches are unrepresented on the selection committees of NFL. Premise 2: These committees advise NFL directors and recommend policies. Conclusion : The over representation of specialist coaches results in a lack in NFL technical support for research in specialist techniques. Somebody please help me understand the argument. How would over representation of specialist coaches result in lack in NFL technical support for research in specialist techniques?
Specialist Coaches are unrepresented on the selection committees of the National Football League (NFL). Specialist Coaches [SC] do not have a single representation (analogous to a union head or someone similar) of theirs on selection committees of NFL. This would suggest that each specialist coach is standing for himself whenever he has to convey a point to the NFL. Since these committees advise NFL directors and recommend policies, the over representation of Specialist Coaches results in a relative lack of NFL technical support for research in the Specialist Techniques. The over representation part of SC is explained by the individual representation of each coach. This means that if there are 5 SC's having single representation, then that single representative will stand in the meeting but if we remove the single representative from the equation, we will have 5 SC's standing in the meeting each with his own ideas and approaches. Hence over representation will lead to too much noise and NFL may not be able to understand or advise each of them in their technique.
Now the thought process that follows is - The problem is crowding. It can be resolved in two ways, EITHER SC's now start having a single representative for them whoh can communicate their generic technique and its deduced problematic areas on which NFL can then assist and provide technical support OR NFL increases its technical support team to give SC's individual attention for better results. For the second case, of course, the cost will increase for NFL employing so many people. The first one will be a cheaper option than the second.
Now lets look at the options:
If the statements above are correct, they most strongly support which of the following?
A)A significant increase in the size of NFL selection committees would be required in order to increase the representation of Specialist Coaches on these committees. Increasing the size of selection committees will not help as it will invite more crowd and hence is opposite of the prompt's direction. B)A significant increase in the representation of Specialist Coaches on NFL selection committees would result in an increase in NFL funding for Specialist Techniques' research. This matches what we were thinking before. We will keep this and look for better options, if any C)A significant increase in funding for Specialist Techniques' research would result in improved policy recommendations to NFL directors. We cannot deduce from the prompt if increasing funds, increases quality of policy recommendations D)A significant increase in funding for the training of Specialist Coaches would result in an increase in the number of Specialist Coaches on NFL selection committees. Although, in the real world, more funding will attract more SC's to join but we cannot infer this from the 2 line prompt mentioned above. Hence it is not supported E)A significant increase in the representation of Specialist Coaches on NFL selection committees would have to precede any increase in the number of NFL managers who are Specialist Coaches. NFL managers ??? Where did they come from ? Not mentioned and hence cannot be inferred or supported.
