When patients with clinical depression come to Royal Cornhill Mental Health Institute, they are first treated with psychotherapy and antidepressants. Only 40 percent respond to their first treatment. More than 20 percent of depressed people did not respond to any treatment.
If the information given above is true, which of the following statements must be true?
At least 60% of the patients who do not respond to the first treatment respond to some other treatment.
