In companies where employees spend a significant amount of time managing digital records, an average employee spends over 500 hours a year organizing and locating files in the system. Currently available advanced AI-powered document management systems, if implemented, can reduce the time required to find and manage records by about 75 percent. Therefore, purchasing the new AI-powered system will save money for any company whose employees spend a substantial amount of time on these tasks.
Which of the following is an assumption necessary to the author's argument? A. The AI-powered document management systems do not reduce the usability of the found records. B. The technology is new to the market and is being introduced in a phased manner. C. All the existing records can be digitized and integrated into the new AI-powered document management systems. D. The company is planning to hire even more employees to reduce the time spent on managing the records. E. The employees will need additional training to use the AI-powered document management systems effectively.

This is another example of a not so great questions. A is the only answer that sort of fits but "usability of the found records" - what does that even mean?
B. is irrelevant C. is a trap as we do not need to digitize the records - it is stated we are working with digital records already (I almost went for it) D. makes no sense as you don't fix anything by hiring more people and our argument is about savings E. This is the opposite of the assumption which should be that they will NOT need too much of costly additional training which will reduce efficiency.
P.S. not the best source :-/
