My 2 cents -

A is wrong because the phrase "resulting from the destruction caused by the largest tsunami of the modern era in the Indian Ocean" tends to modify the "entire world"...

My choice was D.

A has a modifier issue as 'resulting from the destruction caused by the largest tsunami of the modern era in the Indian Ocean' is actually modifying 'the entire world'.

E also has a modifier issue as noun modifier 'which' is placed next to 'Indian Ocean', but at the same time, it does clarify that which is referring to the tsunami.

E also transitions better to the next part of the sentence.

I think that E is indeed correct.

E

A -> Resulting ...the entire world ---> Modification error
B --> Not logical
C--> because ...caused ---> Redundancy
D --> Structure error

E --> logically modifies properly
