The strand fills with water during the rainy season that the peat then holds and keeps it humid, all of which creates conditions enabling trees to grow.

A .enabling trees to grow.---Incorrect run-on sentence .needs a relative clause.
B. for the trees to grow.-----Incorrect 'for' indicates because and its location is not expected.
C .for growing trees.----Incorrect..Chnages the meaning of the sentence.
D. that enable the trees to grow.---Correct...Relative clause is used.
E .that the trees can grow.
---inohorent sentence.

Will go for Option D.

X creates conditions enabling trees to grow.

In option A, Its not clear whether " creating conditions" ---> enabling trees to grow
or "conditions" ---> enabling trees to grow.

logically "conditions" --> enabling trees to grow not "creating conditions".
by introducing relative pronoun "that" solved the above problem

X creates conditons that enable the trees to grow.
= conditions enable the trees to grow.

D sounds better.
B,C,E - distort the meaning of sentence.
