The graphic below is a percentile distribution of weight, being the height the independent variable. According to the GMAT, we cannot estimate the percentile distribution of height based on the weight. Common sense, tell me that they are right. But, please could someone provide me a detailed explanation?
Also, is there a source on line in which I could read more theory about this type of graphics evaluated by the GMAT?

I'm no expert. But my take is as below. Lets take one point on the graph. (95,12). This means that off all kids (lets say 100) 95 cms tall, a 12 kg kid (John)would be heavier than (3 kids)3%. To estimate the percentile distribution of height based on the weight for this kid, we need to find the number of kids who are 12 kgs and the number of kids who are shorter than John. or to be more precise, the %age of 12 kg kids who are shorter than John. We clearly do not have any of this data. We need the height percentiles for weight to determine that. I also provide this explanation in the hope that I am correct.
