Undergraduate - top 10 school (3.5 GPA)
I am not planning on going to business school for 3-4 years, but would like advice on a career move.
I've been working at Amazon on their retail teams for the past year and ~2 months doing vendor relationships/buying/marketing. I love the company and have a lot of responsibility in completely managing two large vendors/their businesses.
New opportunity - Ecommerce manager role at a small fashion/textile company that does ~$500M a year and 170 US employees. Responsibilities seem pretty similar but more impactful due to size of business (would be working pretty closely with VP). Pay is ~1.6x current salary at Amazon (already very fair). The company is in the US and has factories in Latin American. Job location is more desirable. The company is not one I had heard of and does not seem to send man you people to get MBAs.
If I stay with Amazon I will likely receive a promotion early next year (i.e. Vendor or in stock manager). Does it make more sense to stay at Amazon or switch companies if I am aspiring to go to HBS/Wharton? Also, does leaving a company after a year and a few months look bad?

While HBS/Wharton favor big names, I do not advice you to revolve your life around them. Think what benefits you more. If you will join the small company and make difference and accomplishments. What will happen if you remain in amazon without any progress or there many applicants like you. Be yourself and build your career as you see. You may consider staying in amazon for other reasons but not for satisfying a business school.
