I was admitted last week. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to conduct a full visit as I interviewed in early December and class visits were not available. The campus is very nice, though, and the staff is friendly.

Application submitted today. Hoping for the best.
You can count me in. I'll be submitting my application this Sunday for R2. I'm not in St. Louis, but as a Midwestern guy i'm well aware of the strength of pretty much every program at Wash U. Not to mention, not having to have recommenders submit recommendations provides less work for my recommenders which is always a good thing.

Doesn't seem to be much action in here, but I got an interview invite for Round 2 today (submitted 1/1), so hopefully everyone else should start hearing back soon.

I was admitted in early November and I have to say I was very impressed with Olin's admissions process. I met with Kevin Kiley during an event in San Francisco and he was extremely helpful. Three weeks after I submitted my app, I was granted an interview. My interview was very standard (no curve balls at all) with an adcom member. By the end of that week, I got a call from the Assistant Dean letting me know I was admitted. The following week, I got my admissions packet via Fedex Overnight with a full scholarship which was incredible.
Olin is a great school and they have a great future ahead of them. Although they're not considered a top 10 school now, I suspect they'll be very close in the next 5-10 years if they keep up their momentum. The only major drawback for me is the location as St. Louis is very limited in terms of employment opportunities and until Olin becomes a national rather than a regional brand, students will have a hard time finding high salary jobs available to those graduating in California or the East Coast.

This Thursday will be 3 weeks since I submitted my application, and I have also yet to hear from back from Olin so I know how the rest of you guys feel. Congrats to you guys who heard back so quickly; that's awesome! I'm just trying to stay positive, and I'm enjoying the much needed downtime after working on apps for so long. Hopefully this week I'll get some good news in my email haha.

It took Olin six weeks to send out an invitation for my Round 1 interview. I wouldn't worry about it. Congrats on finishing up your apps...knocking those out is an accomplishment in itself.

I'm a first year MBA at Olin. I just wanted to share with prospective students that I've been very impressed with my first semester here. We truly have top-notch faculty that make themselves accessible, and my classmates' backgrounds are really impressive and diverse. I know a lot of prospectives aren't thrilled about moving to STL, but I've loved it...and the dirt-cheap cost of living doesn't hurt while my income is on hold.
One year ago I was deciding between Olin, McCombs, and Kelley. It was a tough decision at the time, but I'm definitely happy to be here. My class has some fortunate timing, but it looks like we'll have some great opportunities coming out of Olin. Good luck to the applicants out there!
