Congrats!

It definitely seems like Olin typically does a lot of the admissions review legwork prior to the interview vs. other schools.

wow just got my admit call too....first one, super happy right now.

It is crazy to think that i applied the same deadline as someone who got an interview TODAY!

It took me a while to find this thread - thanks for setting this up! And congrats to all the admits!

I also applied R2 (submitted on 1/4) and haven't heard from them. At all. Since I'm in St. Louis I almost wonder whether I should self-initiate an interview...

(While I'm not sure how great my essays were, I thought I have a fairly decent profile otherwise... so I'm a little disappointed that they haven't communicated at all...)

I am so excited for Olin, and I hope that everyone who wants to get in gets in if the school is really for you. The amazing community of Wash U and the business school is a great advantage, and I can't wait for the Admit Weekend. Best of luck to all still waiting for interviews or decisions.

Received the admit binder today. Quite excited has plenty of information including admit day, a lot of course info, pre-mba course information and financial information.

I have a question for anyone who has gone through the interview process with Olin.

I submitted my application for the last round (Jan 3rd or whenever that was). I just (like in the last hour) received an interview invite. However, it is a bit different than my other interview invite emails.

It gives me a specific time for a 30 minute phone interview (in a few weeks). It doesn't even seem to give me the option of coming to campus, checking out the school, etc. Is this standard? Do I just accept the telephone interview slot?

The email reads: "The Admissions Committee is currently reviewing your file and requested that an interview be conducted before finalizing our decision. I would like to schedule you for a telephone interview. I have an available appoint at XXXX ...."

If it matters, I am an East Coast domestic applicant.

For my interview they gave me a specific time and date also. However they were in my area at the time and I was able to go meet the interviewer in person.

@ thmgoodw - At all the MBA event panels reps seem to encourage a visit to check out the campus. You should see if you can do so. I was really glad I did instead of the phone interview that was requested. They seem super flexible/ nice.
