I made it to the interview stage of Sept. 17 - R2 intake and even one interviewer told me that he would recommend me to the admissions committee. The 2nd interview didn't go perfect, yet it wasn't bad either. For some reason, however, I was rejected without any waitlist or anything. What do you think are the probable causes for this. I don't want to give up on this and am considering reapplying for the Jan. 18 Intake - R1
A brief Profile:
- GMAT 690 - 77%Q / 72%V - GPA 3.02 undergrad - B.E. Civil Engineering - GPA 3.78 Graduate - Masters in Engineering Management - 5 Years working experience - 3 of which across 4 different countries.

Could be many reasons:
- What was your work ex, and what did you achieve? - Why INSEAD? This seems to be important - Essays - Recommendations - GPA is low - would try to get GMAT 720 +
IMO there isn't much weightage placed on the interview... GPA and GMAT are both on the low side (especially GPA), so perhaps the rest of the application wasn't good enough to overcome these
