I am considering a one year MBA program and am seeking your help on profile evaluation and on which colleges to apply to
Profile: 30 years female, commerce graduate from Delhi University
Professional experience: I have ten years of experience in business research with leading management consulting firms; Although I started with generalist research profile, I have built expertise in manufacturing industry. Have worked in individual contributor role mostly, do not have the team leading experience; have worked with people from different geographies
Post MBA goal: To work in a product management role in an e-commerce firm although I am equally open to figuring out what I want to do post MBA
Country of preference: I am pretty open to working in any geography.
Extra curricular: Have been consistently involved with NGOs; led a massive voter awareness campaign
Personal style: I travel extensively and prefer interacting with people from different cultures
Academics: 85% in 10 and 10+2
Bachelor’s: 3.4 GPA
GMAT: Yet to take (Let’s assume it is 720)
Choice of schools:
Can anyone help me decide which college is more apt given my background?
1. INSEAD: More fees
2. ISB: More diversity
3. IIM (A/B)
Considering the economic scenario in Europe is bleak compared to India, I am not sure if European schools in general will be a good choice. Given my experience, I would prefer to study at INSEAD than at an Indian B school, but wouldn't want to take the risk if the job opportunities are considerably low.
I have been going back and forth in my mind deciding which school would be most apt; his thread seems quite helpful. Any help would be great!
Thank you
