Hello Sumit!
How realistic are the chances for one of the most over-representative profiles in R4? Being an Indian male, with a 730 GMAT who has worked for 3 years in India and 4 in US (worked at a Big4 before, now at a FAANG)- does it make sense to apply in this R4 or wait till R1 of next year? I do realize that this is a strange year for the schools but again, R4s are generally for increasing the diversity of the class, and I am sure that there would be similar candidates to me who would have gotten in, in the previous rounds.
The reason that I am hesitating to take my chances in R4 this year and then apply in R1 for '21 again if I don't get in this R4 is that I am not sure if I will be able to showcase a significant improvement in my profile in the next 3.5 months.
Extremely confused. Any advise will be helpful here! Thanks for doing this.

There is no clear evidence that R4 is for increasing the diversity of the class. In my batch, that was definitely not true. There are Indian consultants who got in R4. Unlike US schools, the round of application is less significant at LBS/INSEAD. Just based on your experience and GMAT, it looks like have a good chance but I totally understand your dilemma. Considering you already got 7 years of experience, I would give it a shot. 5 - 7 years of experience is a sweet spot(for getting in and more importantly for post MBA jobs).
