1. "72 percent greater in 2010 than in 2000" means that the light blue column is more than 1.5 times larger than the dark blue column for one of the countries. The only country that matches this description is Greece, with it going from around 375 to 645, or a \(\frac{645 - 375}{375} * 100\% = 72\%\) increase.

2. The difference between the 2010 rainfalls of India and Greece is around 1300 - 645 = 655. The 2005 rainfall in Brazil is about 1800, so the country we need to find has a total 2005 rainfall of either 1800 + 655 = 2455 or 1800 - 655 = 1145. The latter doesn't match any, however 2455 matches the value for Panama.

3. Our answer will be: "Greece" and "Panama."

Here in question 2 I am confused between Japan and panama. Rainfall in Japan is also looking like at 1325 then why is it wrong?
Ayeka
Visualise from the graph and guess
1) Greece: ((675-400)/400)*100=68.75
2) difference between the 2010 rainfall in India and the 2010 rainfall in Greece= 1100-650=450
Rainfall in brazil in 2005 = 1775+450=2,225 or 1775-450=1,325
No country falls near 1325 in 2005.
Panama is 2250 in 2005. Which fits perfectly with the difference

(Greece; Panama)
