What is the ratio of the corresponding sides of two similar triangles?
(1) The ratio of the perimeters of the two triangles is 3:1.
(2) The ratio of the areas of the two triangles is 9:1.

(1) The ratio of the perimeters of the two triangles is 3:1.
The ratio of corresponding sides of two similar triangles = ratio of their perimeters = 3:1 , therefore sufficient.
(2) The ratio of the areas of the two triangles is 9:1.
The ratio of area of two similar triangles = square of ratio of their corresponding sides = (9/1)
therefore , ratio of corresponding sides = 3:1, hence sufficient.

By similar triangle ratio of parts, the perimeter, corresponding sides, medians and altitudes are always in the same ratio.
Therefore statement 1 is sufficient
Areas of two similar triangles are in proportion of the square of their sides, therefore statement 2 is also sufficient
Therefore statement 1 is sufficient
