Option 1: For similar triangles sides, medians, perimeters, altitudes all in same proportion. Corresponding side also in similar proportion. Hence, Sufficient.
Option 2: As area in proportion, Corresponding sides are also in similar proportion. Hence, sufficient.

My answer too is D.

Here in the ratios of areas, I think it would go +-3:1, since it is a square root. Therefore, Answer should be A.(I guess)

What is the ratio of the corresponding sides of two similar triangles?

(1) The ratio of the perimeters of the two triangles is 3:1.
(2) The ratio of the areas of the two triangles is 9:1.

Thank You for explaining
prady80
By similar triangle ratio of parts, the perimeter, corresponding sides, medians and altitudes are always in the same ratio.
Therefore statement 1 is sufficient
Areas of two similar triangles are in proportion of the square of their sides, therefore statement 2 is also sufficient
