stat1: two cases,,, both are positive or both negative....
if positve answer is no,, if negative the answer depends on where zero lies...
not suff..
stat2: either b or d is positive and the other is negative....
not suff to say whether ab< cd

ab > 0
Either both positive: then ab < cd
Or both negative: then insufficient
hence A is insufficient
Stat B:
bd < 0
Hence b is negative, this means a is also negative: then insufficient as above
Ans: E
