If the figure above is composed of two quadrilaterals, what is the area of the figure?
(1) LKOP has an area of 20.
(2) O is the midpoint of NK and P is the midpoint of ML.

Let us look at combined as individually both are insufficient clearly..
First case..
Let both LKOP and MNOP be square of equal dimensions...Ans both are 20 each
Second case.
Let me draw two new figures by pressing K and L towards each other and increasing dimensions to suit area of 20 units... Now both are not equal
