Jason went to a supermarket to buy two varieties of chocolates. If the two varieties cost $30 and $15 per chocolate respectively, and he bought at least one chocolate of each variety, did he buy more $30 chocolates than $15 chocolates?
I. Jason spent $90 on buying the chocolates.
II. The money spent by Jason on buying $30 chocolates was twice the money he spent on $15 chocolates.
Given:-
Let X - No of 30$ Chocolates and Y - No of 15$ Chocolate
As he bought at least one chocolate of each variety ; X >=1 and Y>=1
Question :-
Is X > YS1-- 30 X + 15 Y = 90
Pl note X and Y are integers .
Let X=1 then Y = 4 .....X<Y ---
NOLet X=2 Then Y =2 ....X=Y...
NOLet X=3 Then Y=0 But this case is not possible as Y >=1
Hence for all possible value of X and Y ; either X=Y or X<Y
