=> x>3 OR X<-5
If x=3.5, |x − 1| < 3
If x=4.5, |x − 1| > 3

=> x-2>7 OR x-2<-7

Because |x-1|<3 means -3<x-1<3 => -2<x<4
we know that the answer to question "is |x − 1| < 3?" is a definitive "NO".
Sufficient.

Given equation |x-1|<3 can be transformed to => -2<x<4
Now, statement 1: |x+1|>4 => X>3 & X<-5 since X is >3 hence, we can’t assure on the conformity of the given of |x-1|<3.
Statement 2: |x-2|>7 => X>9 & X<-5 hence, given equation is not following in the statement 2 boundary line hence, sufficient to say No.
Given equation |x-1|<3 can be transformed to => -2<x<4
