To find the ratio of the volume between the 2 cylinders, we require the ratio of their heights and their radii. This is only possible by combining both the statements.

Pre Analysis:
- We know that volume of cylinder is given by \(\pi r^2 h\)
- Volume of cylinder A \(=\pi r_a^2 h_a\)
- Volume of cylinder A \(=\pi r_b^2 h_b\)
- We are asked the value of \(\frac{\pi r_a^2 h_a}{\pi r_b^2 h_b}=\frac{r_a^2 h_a}{r_b^2 h_b}=(\frac{r_a}{r_b})^2\times (\frac{h_a}{h_b})\)
- So, we need the ratio or relation between both radii and both heights
Statement 1: The diameter of A is twice the diameter of B
- This statement gives us the relation of both radii but not heights
- Thus, statement 1 alone is not sufficient and we can eliminate options A and D
Statement 2: The height of A is equal to the height of B
- This statement gives us the relation of both heights but not radii
- Thus, statement 2 alone is also not sufficient
Combining:
- Upon combining we get relation between both radii and both heights
Hence the right answer is Option C
