Hi everyone!
I would really appreciate an honest and straight-to-the-point comment or suggestion to help me sort things out. I am planning to apply for an MBA Program in any of the top 100 US business school
To give you a brief background of my career and education, I graduated last July 2014 with a Bachelors degree on Hotel and Restaurant Administration with an average GPA. I had a full 12 month internship in one of the most prestigious hotel in the US and held 2 positions, 6 months each. Currently, I am working in an educational institution as a supervisor in a restaurant and as a mentor for the interns. I am on my 4th month of my current work. At the same time, I might be tranferring to Australia for a new work/training 4-8 months from now. Given these things, is it too early for me to review and to take the GMAT when I also plan to apply for an MBA 2-3 years from now? Also, am I doing the right thing, for me to able to land on any of the top 100 business school? Thank you and hope to hear any time soon!

I recommend you attempt the GMAT before you go to Australia.
Here are the things I considered:
As your work experience increases, your will to hit the books decreases. That's why I suggest that you get the GMAT part of your application over with.
Scheduling time for preparation also becomes erratic as your responsibilities at the workplace increase.
Do not connect writing GMAT with doing an MBA. GMAT scores are valid for five years.
