Hi guys,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question.
I run a startup as CTO. I need 2 recommenders. 1 of them I already confirmed to be my angel investor. However for the 2nd one I am choosing between 2 people, both are my teammates:
1. Co-founder and CEO, same age as me, we work together
2. An ex-employee who was
- a user of our product
- became our employee and worked with me on product issues like user feedback , data analytics etc
- left the company for ~6 months already
I think asking the cofounder is generally a bad idea. Asking the ex-employee may provide a more unbiased opinion since he used to be 1. a user of the product hence a "client" and he already left the company so his opinions seem more "unbiased"
Which one should I ask?
