I believe it is quite representative within +- 30 points of the average of both the practice tests. It depends on when you take the test. Most people suggest taking it a week before the actual GMAT test as it gives you the correct momentum going into it.
I would say take it much before the test and guage your performance
This should be done after preparing well enough...Dont take this for regular practice sake.
