I know this is a very basis one - but I am not sure I understand it. There are so many posts with scores for Eg score 720 Q42 V39 or score 690 Q40 V38. Now what does Q# and V# mean?? These defi are not the % of correct answers or even total correct answers. Can someone help me understand.

Q51 and V47 - refers to scores in the individual sections of the GMAT. Q# - refers to quantitative section and V# refers to verbal section.
