Hello All
First post.
Little preface: I studied and practiced religiously for this. Ran through the giant Kaplan book, attended the prep courses at my university, developed a routine for practice exams and steadily increased my practice scores. Usually ending up in the 670-710 range.
Test day: Followed my routine, had the same snack I always did, everything was going perfectly. I sat down at my station feeling like a million credits. Start the exam, about mid-way through on both sections, something feels off.
My scores?
29Q(23rd%) 25V(35th%) Total: 470
AWA: 6.0(91rst%)
I was floored. It looks like I was guessing as opposed to actually contributing. On paper it looks like I'm an analytical writing savant, but cant read.
This ever happen to anyone before? Was my computer borked? Does it seem odd that my verbal score was so low and my writing score so high? I have no explanation whatsoever and truth be told, that bothers me more than an abysmal score.
