I took the GMAT back in nov 2010 and got a score of 690 Q49 V35. I took a break and started studying in March again and was mainly focusing on my verbal score...mostly SC. I was able to get up to 730-740 on all of the GMAT prep tests, with Q 49-50 and V 40-42. I was pretty confident going in the test today. However the result was disappointing -- 690 Q45 V40. I've never had a Q score < 49 since my first gmat prep test. 45 is a big drop from 49 and I don't know how I managed that.
I'm seriously fed up with gmat...but I still think I should do it again in a month. I'm thinking of doing the knewton course. I think if I went it again now I will probably get a Q score of 49. I really which I could review my mistakes made on the test.

If you think Quant is your weakness, try GMATClub tests. Although I have attempted only few tests, I'm confident that anyone can achieve Q 50+ with these tests. Knewton questions are not harder than GMATClub math tests. BTW, did I tell you that I've enrolled in Knewton

I agree with rg1.
I myself had enrolled in Knewton, although the course is good but it wont really help you get a 49 from 45. Its good to have good base but if you have been getting 49 in quant on yr practice and even inthe first GMAT then u already have a pretty good base.
I would suggest that you go through GMAT club tests.
