But i am not sure.

Never went through this but I would think redemption would have to come in the form of a much improved score from what you were previously aiming for

1)Did you take the exam in the US?
2)Did you review the guidelines and policies on the GMAT website when you registered for the exam?
3)Before you started the exam, did the administrator ask you to read through a list of policies of guidelines that he/she handed to you personally?

I don't think this will end your MBA plans. You might have to wait 30 days before retaking it is all.

Also, the next time you take the exam read through the policies! :)

All the best.

hi,

as far as i could remember. if you want to stop the exam midway, it will be recorded as incomplete in the mark sheet. The colleges wont know the reason why, so they might ask you to find out.

if your exam is canceled, then the reason will be recorded in the mark sheet.if what you did comes under cheating, it is a very serious issue and colleges will view it seriously.by that i am not saying your dreams are over, but you gotta lot of explaining to do buddy.

i wouldn't venture out to give advice, but talk to your test administrator, if he/she is sympathetic they will advise you on what to do nxt.

That's really unfortunate. I would recommend that you contact Pearson/GMAC and see what your exact result means (it should show up on your GMAC profile soon).

Yeah. Contact GMAC.

Don't be upset. You know you didn't do it purposely and you are not a cheater so its not a big deal.

What I would recommend is to try and achieve a 740+ score and then write the optional essay explaining what had happened the first time. Try to gain sympathy as hard as you can. But man this is a tragedy, but I am sure it will not end your MBA dream.
