am not suprised with this "average" score but a decent first try. My serious preparation started just two weeks ago. I had gone thru some Kaplan lessons before that, but wasnt really focusing much.
What helped me a lot was this forum. I found the best teachers, resources, and study partners right here in this forum.
I went through the Kaplan lesson book, worked on some of their online exercises and attempted a few, very few OG questions. However, what I did attempt - I learnt, wrote down, and read again. I took the advice of teachers here and focused on understanding versus memorizing formulas.
The test itself- The test itself wasnt that hard actually. I got stuck on few questions and paid dearly for those in terms of timing. I ran out in both sections, but in verbal was on 34 with 2 mins INCLUDING an RC passage. I had to guess on the last 7 questions. Time management killed me. But now i know. When stuck, minimize your losses and move on!!!!!
I will take few days off and then back to the learning pad. Keep up the good work folks. Paul, thanks for the initial advice.

Well done for the first time Tareks! I actually got 620 on my first attempt also so do not lose heart. I'm sure that we more involvement in the club and a longer prep time, you will reach your target score.
