Waited for that screen and clicked report... saw the 710 47/71 and freaked out. I couldn't be happier. The guy at pearson saw me freaking out and said I had to calm down, ha...You'll all get there!

Great score! Congrats! Would be great if you could explain the highlighted stuff... :-D

How the hell does someone go from a 38 after studying hardcore for 5 months to a 48 after not looking at the material for 3? That is how big of a role nerves play in this game. It plays a 10 point difference. You cannot get more tangible than that.
This was probably the best feeling I'd had in a while. Knowing nerves was the issue, not my knowledge, gave me hope.
Absolutely. I agree it is possible.For eg I read many posts like this- " quant score in preps - 48,47,48, 39(was upset/was tired/had an off day/ fatigue/ had a fever...),48,49". It always struck me the difference is statistically significant.
However, I think gmat was freaked out by you this time around!! Congrats!!
@German - think he meant 47/41.

Thanks for all the congratulations'! Also- I started off with a cold diagnostic of 530... So, don't think your improvement is limited.. you can get whatever score you want with enough work!
