Congrats Gaurav. That really was an interesting debrief. looks like you have put in lot of time and work which gave you nice result. I like your toughts about SC. while going through OG, I have tough time remembering all the rules and especially Diction and Rhetorical construction questions go wrong. I will take your inputs and try to apply them.
congrats once again on your successful journey.

your story is nearly the same as my story but I am still struggling because of some foolish mistake I have made . Hope , like you , I can do it .

one advice please . without reading any materials ,( some wasted local materials I studied though ) , I got a 580 .V27 Q 43 .

but after studying 4 months , got a 590 (V25 , Q47) . I was under extreme pressure . so I took the second mock without any plan but that should not be excuse of my poor score . because when I took first mock , I did not know most formula and any SC rules tested on GMAT . but after studying Manhattan series , OG , gmatclub question , I still get a 590:-( ?

Hi ksaidivya,

Since it's been over a year since Garv posted, it's possible that he's moved on (and won't be responding). There are plenty of Experts and Users here who can offer you advice on how to improve in the Verbal section though.

I'd like to know a bit more about the work that you've done so far:

1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you been using?
3) Did you score V15 on a CAT or on the Official GMAT?
4) Do you have trouble finishing the Verbal section on time (and do you have to guess on a bunch of questions just to finish)?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
