Hello!
I'm looking for peer advice. I recently gave my GMAT [targeting fall 2016 admits]. Scored 710 [Q49, V38 - thanks Magoosh!]. I am relatively happy with my score. Unfortunately i bombed in the IR section. Scored 1 [0 percentile]. I have been through some blogs and people seem to be all over the place on whether the IR section is relevant for B-schools. I guess i am trying to determine the ROI for retaking the test. Would a bad IR score stick out and count against me [assume my equally qualified twin was also applying

Hi Ravi,
First off, a 710/Q49 is a fantastic score, so chances are you won't have any reason to retest. The broader issue involves the strength of your OVERALL application, so you might want to run all of this by an Admissions Expert. There's a Forum full of them here:

You'll want to include more information about your overall profile and the Schools that you're interested in, but the Consultants there should be able to offer some perspective and specific advice.

I think IR right now doesn't matter so get your application in. In a couple of year when school have an idea and average of the IR score, there might be requirements coming
