Hi All,,
If any one could help me solve my confusion, it would be of great help.
I have taken gmat four times with below scores.
April 10, 2015 :- 540 Q39,V25
Sept 02nd 2015 :- 580 Q40,V30( CR 25, RC 23, SC 41) got the breakup through enhanced score report.
March 14th 2016 :- 640 Q45,V33 ( CR 51, RC 28, SC 27)
June 06TH 2016 :- 650 Q47,V34 (CR 28, RC 41, SC 31)
First of all, the last score of Q47,V34 according to the score matrix that is available on net is 670. So I'm not sure why I ended up with 650
Second, the thought that is really upsetting me is how can the section wise score vary so much, that is on march 14th my CR score was 51 and this time it is 28.
sept 02nd Sept SC was 41 and now it is 31. I'm clueless what is happening and why it is happening.
Now my confusion is should I take a gmat 5th time, so that I can perform my best in verbal , as I feel I can, as also I have performed good in all sections just that in different attempts . or is 650 a good enough score to get into good university (first 10-15 US univ) and I should spend my time working on my Applications.
Any suggestions, insight would be of great help. please help...

I really can't give you an answer to your question, but I did want to tell you that I admire your perseverance.
Look at it this way: A 110 point improvement is pretty respectable... even if not satisfying for you right now and no I am not saying you can't do better, but I would be thrilled if I could improve my first GMAT score by 110 points.
What kind of study material did you use for your preparation?

The variation in your Verbal sub-sectional scores can be explained by the fact that the GMAT is an adaptive test. Your issue is with consistency. Could it be that you became complacent with your CR skills after scoring the maximum in the penultimate attempt and did not spend proper time practicing CR for the last attempt?
If you want to significantly improve your Verbal score, you'll need to consistently practice well in all 3 Verbal sub-sections.
