I was preparing for almost 8 months. My verbal skills was, still is, quite shaming, specially in the reading comprehension section. I tried e-Gmat course, and this course helped me improve my sentence correction skills, specially sentence correction related to modifiers. Although this course helped me improve, i could not manage a satisfactory score on the final test i took on 25th October, 2016. My score is 550 (Q47, V20). I was so stressed that i couldn't even understand any question. I took too much time on my first reading comprehension, and I think If i could improve my Rc section little, i'd do much better. Now I am preparing for another test. I hope this time i'll beat the GMAT as I am focusing more on RC part.
I am very eager to have any help from anyone who can support me with my verbal, providing a better strategy.

Now, I know what you're facing with your 'nerves'. I've been there, and I still have the same problem. I couldn't think straight on my last CAT because I was so nervous. I could hear my heart beating and I was kind of shaking.
I started to do mindfulness meditation and would look for a psychologist if I had time and $ for that. I'll soon find out whether that's working out.
