So I started my prep 2 and a half months ago but, I started researching about the best material suitable for me long before that.
So this is what I suggest... Before you start preparing there are two things you must absolutely do.
1. Take a mock.
2. Research everything you can about the exam.
I chose egmat for verbal and dint use anything other than OG, reviews and gmatclub for quants.
After doing this... Stop thinking about everything else... No need to even look at other material.
Just start preparing.
Take a mock every 15 days to check your progress.
I did not buy any mocks. I used every free mock I could lay my hands on.
Once you reach - 30 of your target score, leave all material... Gmatclub will have made an
error log for you...
Solve all the questions that you had previously gotten incorrect. You might still get a lot of incorrect questions.
Don't worry.
After all this gets over.
Start solving only 600 level questions.
Remember... Gmat penalizes you heavily for getting easy questions wrong.
Practice so much that you don't get a single 600 level question wrong... Especially in verbal..
By the time you are done with this, you will be quite near to your test date...
Study a bit for IR and AWA.
Don't sweat it.... Studying in the last week won't help much...
Trust yourself that you have followed a system...
You will surely do well.
