Just wanted to say that there a lot of smart people on this forum. I'm not claiming to be one of them. I'm just hoping I can get a decent score. I need to hit 600.
I have about 7 weeks in which to study. Please comment on if I will be able to reach my goal.
Resources used: Kaplan, Arco, books, 2004. Will also get the 11th edition Guide. In total about 5 Books as well as some online tests.
Will also be attending a 48 hour prep. course which will offer two CAT GMAT tests.
Strenghts: Vocab, language skills
Weakness: Math Skills
Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

Even I am not among the group of people you have mentioned. But I got a 650 so atleast I can tell you something that may help you. For the Maths part, which is your weekness I would suggest you OG from page 1 to end. If you can spare a little extra time then also go through the basics (Using any high school books) of the topics given in the OG. And most important of all is hang on the Maths Forum of this website. Don't answer just for the sake of answering. Go to the depth of the questions until you are exhausted. Try to find different methods/approaches of solving a question. Key is practice practice and practice.
For the verbal part I may not be the better person to suggest. But my suggestions would be: PR has good reading material not the questions. KAPLAN has good reading material and questions. OG is a must. If you have more time then KAPLAN 800 will be good for tough questions.

Hi Neemo
For the math, after you refresh your basic skills, I would recommend you to go through some GMATclub challenges. I've got an access to them recently, and I feeel very sorry for not taking them before. I found challenges to be one of the most valuable source that teaches to find the tricks.
