Hi everyone!
I took my first online GMAT today(March,18 2021). While starting the exam, proctor didn’t recognize my webcam feed. Then, someone in Pearson called me and we solved the problem. I was able to start the exam 30 min. later than scheduling time. There wasn’t any other problems during the exam. I finished the exam without any problems. In the website, I can see that my scores are pending.
HOWEVER, I received an email from Pearson saying that “We have been informed that you were unable to complete your examination on 18 Mar 2021 due to Problem with Pearson VUE application. At this time, we are providing the following voucher to schedule a new exam at no additional charge”.
Do you think that my score will be canceled and should I retake the exam?
Or, will I receive a score and will it be official? Because I had only problem in the beginning. There was no any problem during the exam.

As you have mentioned that examination is not competed and received a new voucher to schedule for a new date, I don't think you will receive any score.
Please plan for new date.

Interesting....
Usually people end up getting screwed due to technical difficulties. They get a score and they don’t get a chance to retake. Another common case is people not being able to finish the test at all and they get a voucher and no score.
There have been cases of people actually receiving scores and getting a voucher for a retake. You may be one of those cases. You may get a valid score that you can use if you choose to...
