Hi All!
I have my 2nd gmat attempt scheduled in 2 weeks and am looking for some help in terms of improving my efficiency in verbal. At this point, I am kind of lost and a bit exhausted. I am confused about what resources I should use and what my plan for the upcoming two weeks should be. I am aiming for 74-750. To give you some background:
1st attempt in October'20: 700(Q49,V36)
Before my attempt, I was consistently scoring 700-730 in the official mocks(1-4). I had utilized the OG, egmat verbal course+scholaranium questions
I started my prep for a reattempt around 30th April and resources I have used for now:
Advanced OG
Manhattan mocks:
1) 640(Q44,V36)-inflated since I had given the first free mock couple of months ago
3) 660(Q49,V34) (after 13 days from above mock)-all incorrect questions in the 700-800 range except 2 questions in 600-700 range from RC(inference&main idea)
I shall be attempting a reset of gmac official mock no 4 in a few days as well. I have been meticulously preparing an
error log and have not repeated most of my errors in the most recent mock. My analysis shows that my main weakness at this point is that
I use more time in SC(weak spot)- end up getting some wrong which also puts a dampener on other sections. My timing seemed to have improved from the last manhattan mock however I still feel I was running a bit short on time.
In short, I am looking for tips to improve my time on SC and on resources to practice from in these two weeks for verbal. Thanks!
