I know that this question has been asked a lot of times, but I really need some advice for my particular situation.
I am planning to take the GMAT on December 22nd, however I still couldn't decide wether to take it online or in a test center.
Online considerations:
My home connection isn't great and has been giving a lot of issues last week, but it has been quite stable in the last few days.
I was thinking I may take it in a private room in my University library, where there is a LAN cable that would give more stability to the connection. However I am not 100% sure that no one will enter my room or there may be some noises. The library has been dead silent and very empty lately because of the Winter break.
Test center considerations:
The closest test center is 4 hours away and I would need to take a train and two buses, with a risk of delays or other problems.
I am sure there would be no technical issues, and even if there was one it wouldn't be caused by me.
To arrive there, I would need to wake up very early. I am not used to this and it may be an additional cause of stress.
I am really really stressed about this choice, and this isn't good since I would like to be only focused on the actual exam. Do you have any suggestions? I am leaning more for taking it online but in that case I am not sure if I should take it at home or at the library.
I read many terrible experiences about the online version but they all seem to be quite old, has the average experienced been improving recently?
