As the title says, I took my GMAT today and scored 570(q46,v23). This is nowhere near my target score of 700+, and is lower than even any of my mock exams combined. My official mocks prior to this were:
M1: 600
M2:710
M3:610(but this was not done under test settings due to unavoidable circumstances). I had to leave my desk multiple times while doing the mock and was unable to be fully focused.
M4:720
M1 retake: 700(2 weeks before the actual exam)
This result was particularly shocking to me considering I usually do very well in verbal.
Also for the past 2 days, I experienced throat pain, runny nose, slight fever and headache. I don’t believe it’s covid related but I was definitely not 100% fit to take my exam today(I was probably about 80%). [
EDIT: I have tested positive for COVID on 4/18, hence it may be due to covid that I didn't do well in the exam.]
I definitely want to retake the exam but not sure when. Also, would it be worth it to buy the ESR if I already know part of the reason why I didn’t do well today(my health)?
Any info would be well appreciated.
Thank you!
