I took the GMAT at home this weekend and everything went well, except for the fact that my computer almost died in the middle of the test.
Before the test started, the proctor asked me to remove all items on my desk, but because my desk is so large, I opted to switch over to my girlfriend’s desk which is smaller and easier to clear out. I made sure to bring my computer charger as well, but I did not notice that my girlfriend’s extension plug was not plugged into the wall. Even though it appeared to be plugged in, the plug was not fully pushed into the outlet.
With 3 minutes left in the verbal section, which I took second, I got an alert from my computer saying it was about to die. I panicked and jumped out of my seat to check if the charger was plugged in and notified my proctor immediately about what was going on. In my panicked state, I ended up guessing on the remaining 3 questions of that section. Once I finished, I started my break and plugged my computer charger to another outlet in my room. Meanwhile, the proctor called someone to verify that I could continue my test, and they allowed me to continue.
I ended up scoring a 710, but I fear they may cancel my score because I got out of my seat for 10 seconds. Today, I received an email saying they are going to conduct a routine security review of my test. In your experience, is this grounds for cancellation, or will they be understanding? Are they more likely to cancel it since my score was solid?

I think they'll probably let the score stand.
For one thing, you guessed on the questions after you jumped up and likely missed them.
It's not as if you went off camera and then answered all the questions you saw correctly.
