i received a mail today -
"We are writing to inform you that your GMAT Focus Edition exam delivered online 28910384*** on December 07, 2024 is undergoing a routine security review that may take up to 20 business days. Once this review has been completed, you will be contacted only if we have any questions concerning your scores. Otherwise, you will receive an email that your results are available and can select schools / programs to send your scores.
"We are writing to inform you that your GMAT Focus Edition exam delivered online 28910384*** on December 07, 2024 is undergoing a routine security review that may take up to 20 business days. Once this review has been completed, you will be contacted only if we have any questions concerning your scores. Otherwise, you will receive an email that your results are available and can select schools / programs to send your scores.
Please note that this is part of normal business and assessment operations at the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and helps to ensure the quality and the validity of our exams. In order for us to complete exam reviews in a timely manner, we ask that you wait 20 business days from your exam date before requesting an update.
If more than 20 business days has passed, and you have not heard from us or received your results, please contact us at testsecurity."
i read on reddit and gmatclub website about score hold or cancellation process. i only had one issue while giving the exam that my landline phone rang from the other room. The proctor paused the exam for 2-3 mins and then resumed it again when i showed her the landline phone. Deadline of colleges are near. im very nervous since i spent $350 on it. Unofficial score 705.

3. Backup Plan: If the review takes longer than expected, you might want to start preparing a backup plan, such as highlighting your unofficial score in your applications or reaching out to GMAC for clarification after the 20-day window.
