Thanks for replying. I am looking at foundational concepts to see if I am missing anything.

Hi thelady02,

One reason your score may be dropping is that, although you did pretty well on your first GMAT, it's possible that you got a batch of questions that suited your strengths on that exam. In other words, you may have more knowledge gaps than you realize, so your scores have dropped on subsequent exams. With that in mind, it would make sense to spend some time improving your GMAT skills before taking another GMAT. With that in mind, here is a great article you can check out:

Thanks for replying. Do you have any suggestions on how do I overcome it? Or just give it a break for a while?

I don't understand the variation in my sectional scores. How can my quant and verbal scores go from 81 and 83 to 78 and 75 in less than a month?? I used to think only DI was my issue but I am not sure any more.
Hi thelady02,

You're right. Going from V83 (84%) to V75 (18%) is totally unexpected, and it could very well be that you're facing burnout.

Take a break, but also give yourself enough time to rest up, which could be as simple as getting enough (and regular) sleep. Don't replace the GMAT with something equally stressful.

Also, be open to seeking expert help if you think you need it, something beyond the well-intentioned, but possibly amateur and unqualified diagnosis/advice you'll get here.

All the best.
