Coming from a humanities background, my Quant and Data Interpretation (DI) were major weak areas when I started my preparation. TTP helped me build and strengthen that foundation through its structured lessons and analytics-driven approach. Here is a brief of my journey. Here is a brief of my journey (especially for forms coming from humanities background):
I began my GMAT journey back in January 2025, enrolling in local live coaching classes that promised to get me to a 675+ score in just three months. However, as I started, I quickly realized that the cohort was largely made up of engineering and quant-focused students. They raced through the quant and data interpretation sections, which left me, coming from a humanities background, struggling to build a solid foundation. Despite investing time and money, I felt stuck, especially in quant and DI, while my verbal skills remained okay.
In June 2025, I took my first official mock and scored 545. This was quite disheartening, but it also pushed me to try something different. That’s when I decided to switch to the self-paced
Target Test Prep platform. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive because of my busy work schedule, but the platform’s structure was a game changer. It organized all my study materials and allowed me to focus purely on learning.
As I dove into
Target Test Prep, I appreciated how it started from the basics in quant and DI, which was crucial for me. The platform’s approach of continuous reinforcement, through quizzes, topic-level tests, and customized practice, helped me gradually improve. By August 2025, after completing the curriculum, I took another mock and scored 635. While this was not my target score (675), it was a significant improvement, and it boosted my confidence.
In the following month, I focused on my weak areas by revisiting my errors and using the platform’s analytics to guide me. I created customized tests to strengthen my weak points and continued taking mocks. Over time, my scores steadily climbed, and by the time I sat for the GMAT Focus exam in September 2025, I achieved a 695 (20 points higher than my target score).
It was a rewarding experience, and I truly felt that
Target Test Prep was like a study buddy who took care of all the planning, scheduling & deciding my course for the GMAT, so the only area I had to focus on was the actual studying part.
For anyone starting their gmat journey, and is especially scared about their Quant & DI, i would suggest going ahead with TTP without thinking twice. If you still have apprehensions, they have a 5 days trial so you can see for yourself if the design of the platform suits your needs (which I am confident it will!)
The only drawback I would say they do not provide their own mocks(this is to ensure to not trust any third party mocks apart from official).
