I attempted my gmat focus exam online after much preparation. As it was online I ensured that I have my Passport, white board and 2 markers available with me.
When I started the test the proctor did a camera and room check asked me to move my laptop and show him around the room and below the desk.
I had to keep my phone away and show him where it’s kept and all the entry and exits of the room.
Post that the exam started as it would have. I proceeded with selecting the section and attempting the test in QDIV order.
Quant was pretty much just like the 755 level questions we see here on gmatclub. I guess some were even lower and I could see it getting tougher as I moved ahead through the section.
I believe I had couple of them wrong and both were a little silly mistakes.
Verbal has never been my forte but the real exam was not that tough. The RC passages were certainly long and lengthy and in order to attempt all questions I did go through the last RC faster.
4 RC with one short one
Started and ended with CR
For DI my Achilles heel, It was a mixed bag. While the question themselves aren’t hard the language is wordy and solving them takes time which created the pressure on me early on. It is one area where calming your never and not being too egoistic about solving the question helps I guess.
I don’t think I have it my best considering the questions were easy and not too tough however verbally challenging and tricky. I still don’t understand what’s the best way to attempt this section
All in all my score was exactly how much I scored in official mock 2 days before exam. I think it was mock number 4 but tbh I think all official mocks are very close to gmat exam 3,4,5,6 maybe 5 is slightly tougher.
I didn’t face network issue and also I used mobile data not broadband so worse case scenario my net wouldn’t go off ever.
I took the break after DI and before V
I do plan to give one last attempt hopefully crossing 705 so incase you wanna pair up and study let me know.
Materials I used well, I did use TTP but what helped me most was
gmat club tests
