Hey everyone

I took my GMAT on Friday
I am from Chile, and took it in Chile (which sucks)
I thought I was going to get 600-650, so I was pleasantly surprised
The last few math questions were real easy, and that scared me
I think I could have done better if I would have studied more and/or taken a prep course, but I will stick with this score for now
I know I may be a bit optimistic, but I will be applying to U.Penn, Duke, Cornell, UCLA, Ohio St, and Purdue.
I have a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue, with a minor in Business Management, and 2 years of work experience so far

What are your thoughts?

All of those schools will accept you with that score. You have a unique background coming from Chile, but the question is your work and EC experiences. You only have 2 years of WE and that is not a lot to balance out a 680. Do you have any unique EC experiences that show leadership and strong involvement? If you can put together that well-rounded app, your 680 will not raise any questions about whether you can handle the workload at these top schools. A 680 does not make you a shoe-in nor will it give any astounding scholarship $$$ at a top school, but is within that middle 80% so they will be comfortable with your ability to keep up with the other students.

Well I do lack some WE, but I think my letters of recommendation will help with that, as will my resume.
I have worked for two companies, and was promoted in each one within months. Also, right now I work for Coca-Cola (2nd company), and I hope that the company name (reputation) will carry some weight.
I know MBA programs are looking for strong leadership individuals, so it is something I will definetely keep in mind.
How accomodating are universities in terms of interviews? I know some universities have ex-alumni in different countries and you interview with them. However, what if you are not in their city or vicinity? Can one do it over the phone?
